Creel is headed up by Sarah Shorten.
She came to recruitment via a journey through the arts, having founded and grown an acclaimed dance company for over 10 years in London, before teaming up with David.
As an Oxford alumnus, she utilises a fresh, idiosyncratic approach to working with candidates and clients alike, coupled with an extremely useful contact book.
She really likes working with emerging talent, those who seek greater intellectual challenge and European recruiters looking to relocate. She has particular grip within buoyant sectors where pin-sharp advocacy is a must.

David works with Sarah interchangeably on almost all candidate and client relationships.
He has over 15 years in the field, and has personally recruited candidates and colleagues into hundreds of opportunities and thus has a rich, expansive knowledge of the sector from within. As such he is "eyes wide open" to the ever present potential for frustration found within a career in recruitment. You will find him to have an informed yet discrete style that works without pressure or bluster - one that mostly operates outside of the usual networking media relying more on a personal contact base and individual knowledge.
He retains a particular interest in senior candidates and the industry’s most established players quite simply because his years in the sector have brought a depth and ease of practice which suits work at this level.
